HOW TO REACH US
BY CAR
From Rome and from Pescara, take the A25 highway, exit at Pratola Peligna-Sulmona and go on the SS17, to Roccaraso.
From Neaples, take the A1 highway to the North, exit at Caianello and go on to Venafro, up to Roccaraso.
From L'Aquila, take the SS17 to Roccaraso.
From Bari, take the A14 highway up to Pescara, go on the A25 up to Pratola Peligna-Sulmona and go on the SS17 to Roccaraso.
BY PLANE
The airport of Neaples Capodichino is 130 km far.
Rome Ciampino and Rome Fiumicino Airports are 200 km far.
The closest airport is that one of Pescara, in Abruzzo, 100 km far, with national connections (Bergamo, Cagliari, Milan, Turin, Trapani) and abroad (Barcelona, Bruxelles, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, London, Oslo, Paris, Tirana).
BY TRAIN
Railway reaches the stations of Roccaraso, Castel di Sangro, Alfedena, Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo.
The line connects Pescara to Neaples, by crossing Sulmona (with connections to Rome and L'Aquila) and Isernia (with connections with Campobasso, Foggia and Benevento).
The highest station is that one of Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo (1.268 m asl), the second highest in Italy after that one of Brennero.
BY BUS
The line Pescara-Roccaraso-Neaples-Salerno connects the Alto Sangro to the Campania and to the Adriatic Coast.
The line Rome-Castel di Sangro, connects the Capital to the skiing resorts of the district.
The local lines allow the transfers among the villages.
